Meet the Team
KERRI VAN LUIK
Kerri is a Client Manager at HAS LLP. She has over nineteen years of public accounting experience providing year-end, income tax, HST, payroll, and bookkeeping support to small- and medium-sized businesses and individuals.
She enjoys helping clients plainly understand their books, tax obligations, and results, and guiding them to implement changes that keep their records clean, organized, and efficient for tax purposes.
Kerri graduated with Honours from Humber College’s three-year Accounting program in 2008, earning four awards in recognition of her performance and commitment. She also brings a firsthand small-business perspective, supporting several businesses in her family.
Kerri enjoys family adventures with her husband and two active boys. She’s passionate about giving back to her community and embracing Ontario’s four seasons with favourites including camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, and gardening.
MELINDA BUSHEY
Melinda joined the HAS LLP team in 2026 bringing with her over 30 years of public accounting experience. As a senior accounting manager, she has acquired technical expertise across a broad spectrum of financial services, including personal and corporate tax, financial reporting, strategic tax planning, and trust and estate taxation.
Over the years she has built a reputation for her attention to detail, commitment to quality assurance, and dedication to client satisfaction. She values building genuine personal connections with the clients she serves.
Outside of the office, Melinda is involved in her community as an active member of her church and a board member of her local community centre. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
JULIA YAZJI
Julia is a Junior Accountant at HAS LLP and has been with the firm since its early days. She plays an important role in supporting the accounting team across a variety of engagements, contributing to the firm’s consistent and detail-oriented approach to client service.
She assists with payroll processing, financial reporting, and tax preparation, working closely with the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency across client files. Julia graduated from the accounting program at Mohawk College in 2024 and has developed a strong understanding of the firm’s processes and standards, allowing her to contribute meaningfully to day-to-day operations.
Outside of work, Julia is actively involved in her church community and enjoys spending time with her loved ones.
FADI BADRIYA
Fadi is a member of the accounting team at HAS LLP and has completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business at York University, graduating in June 2026. He supports the team across a variety of engagements, contributing to the firm’s detail-oriented and efficient approach to client service.

He assists with corporate and personal tax preparation, as well as financial reporting, bringing strong attention to detail and a practical approach to his work. Through his time at the firm, Fadi continues to build on his experience in public accounting while supporting a wide range of client needs.
Outside of work, Fadi enjoys playing soccer, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
ANTHONY LAMANTIA
Anthony is a member of the accounting team at HAS LLP and a returning co-op student currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University. He supports the team across a variety of engagements, contributing to the firm’s detail-oriented and efficient approach to client service.
He assists with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation, bringing strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Through his time at the firm, Anthony continues to build a solid foundation in accounting while supporting a wide range of client needs.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys playing and watching soccer, going to the gym, as well as spending time outdoors.
JANET HEFFNER
Fadi is a member of the accounting team at HAS LLP and has completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business at York University, graduating in June 2026. He supports the team across a variety of engagements, contributing to the firm’s detail-oriented and efficient approach to client service.

ANMAR BAHNAM (NAOMI)
Anmar is a Bookkeeping and Administrative Assistant at HAS LLP, supporting the accounting team with a primary focus on bookkeeping, payroll, and financial record-keeping. He plays an important role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
He assists with bookkeeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial organization, working closely with the team to ensure consistency and efficiency across client files. Anmar brings a focused and reliable approach to his work and continues to build on his experience within the accounting field.
Outside of work, Anmar enjoys going out with friends, trying new restaurants, volunteering in the community, and unwinding in his downtime.
ORNELLA GEORGES
Ornella is the Executive Assistant at HAS LLP, working primarily alongside the firm’s legal team and supporting a range of legal matters. She plays a key role in coordinating files and assisting with day-to-day legal workflows, contributing to the firm’s efficient and client-focused approach.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at York University, with plans to attend law school sometime in the near future. With a strong interest in the legal field, Ornella is actively building her experience in a professional legal environment while also supporting the firm’s broader operations as needed.
During her free time, Ornella enjoys seeing friends, spending time with family, volunteering in the community, and unwinding with a good book or time outdoors.
